Sponsorships

Sponsorship makes your own family a little bigger.

We help children find a way out of poverty and develop into self-determined adults – this is only possible with our team of employees, volunteers, partners, donors and sponsors. 

 

 

With a sponsorship, you provide targeted and sustainable help.

You give children a loving home in the children's village or secure a place for them in our street children programme. 

Your sponsorship contribution goes directly to the children's village or the street children programme of Kinderhilfe Kambodscha. 

Your help contributes to the sustainable development of the community and the country. 

As a sponsor of Kinderhilfe Kambodscha, you will receive an annual report on developments in the children's village and the street children programme. 

You have our assurance that your sponsorship contribution will go directly to the children. 

You will receive a donation receipt for the sponsorship contribution to submit to the tax office.

 

 

Why we do not arrange 1:1 sponsorships

 

The sponsorships aim to strengthen the community, so sponsors are not assigned to a single child. The children should be strengthened in their self-confidence and their sense of self-determination and autonomy. We want to avoid them feeling dependent on the support of a single sponsor. It would also be difficult to cushion the disappointment of children who do not have a sponsor. Support that can be terminated at any time for various reasons can lead to insecurity among the children. Ultimately, no child should feel excluded if they cannot be matched with a sponsor.​
